The Retired Military and Annuitant Pay (R&A) division of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), began two new SmartDoc email campaigns to Soldiers in February. The first is targeted to newly retiring Soldiers, and the second is specifically for Gray Area Retirees at the beginning of the month of their 59th birthday.
